Coffee Talk with Metro Arts is our monthly community gathering where artists, neighbors, and anyone looking to get involved in the Nashville arts scene can connect and share their stories. Join us to learn about upcoming projects and opportunities, and meet the people creating exciting new art in Nashville.​

Our next Coffee Talk will be Wednesday, September 9 from 9:30–11:00 AM. As part of our ongoing effort to expand the Coffee Talk program with venues and art, we're co-hosting this round with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee at their Clubhouse (916 16th Avenue North, Nashville, TN 37208).

This edition of Coffee Talk with Metro Arts will feature new ideas and programs from attendees who wish to share. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee will be on hand to share how they use art as a powerful tool for youth development, helping young people build essential skills in core areas through programming such as Health & Wellbeing, Character & Leadership, Academic Success, and Life & Workforce Readiness. Some of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee staff will be providing guests with the opportunity to create their own versions of the current art project that the youth are working on this month, as well as offering tours of the recently renovated Clubhouse building for all those interested. Metro Arts staff will also be present to discuss various Grants and Public Art initiatives. Local artists and leaders are invited to share more information about current and other upcoming events and art crawls as well.

Free parking will be available both in the Clubhouse parking lot and on the surrounding streets.

There will be coffee available to purchase by Fruitful Coffee Co. throughout the morning.
